The Federal Government says it is not binding on it to accept the N30, 000.00 agreed by organized Labour and the Private sector as new minimum wage.

Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige disclosed this at the end of Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.

Ngige insisted that the Federal Government has not shifted ground on its N24, 000 proposal.
